FACULTY MEMBERSHIP AND DUTIES

2.1 In accordance with the Constitution of the Academic Senate of California State University Channel Islands, the Senate is constituted as follows:

  1. Lecturer faculty may elect up to five (5) representatives to the Academic Senate. Lecturer representatives must be appointed to no fewer than six WTUs during the semester of their election. No more than two of the representatives of the lecturer faculty shall be from the same program.
COMMITTEES

5.3 Standing Committees

  • Membership on Standing committees: Tenured, probationary and lecturer faculty with no fewer than 6 WTUs at the time of the election are eligible to serve on standing committees.

5.4 Advisory Committees

  • Membership on Advisory Committees: Tenured, probationary and lecturer faculty with no fewer than 6 WTUs at the time of the election are eligible to serve on Advisory Committees.
